The 20 On Hawthorne

The 20 On Hawthorne is a four-story, 54,000sf Mixed Use Project with first floor Retail.  The 20 on Hawthorne was built on an accelerated 10-month construction timeline and achieved the highly sustainable and marketable LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council at nearly no construction premium.

The Green designs include a green deck, which is fully landscaped with six apartments having access to a patio and a flow-through planter, which detains and filters all the storm water from the project.  The building obtained a LEED Gold rating, which is fairly rare for this size building and type of construction. 

LBC coordinated with designers to incorporate a triple-stacking auto parking structure - the first of its kind in the state. The parking garage does not use below-grade parking, yet is able to house 34 vehicles by the use of a fully automated triple Decker Car Stacker.  This “Stacker” holds 29 cars in space that would typically accommodate only ten cars/stalls.  The system does not require an attendant to assist with the parking.  All controls are automated allowing tenants to easily scan a card which will then move their car into a position for exit, 24 hours a day.
