The Gear Manufacturing factory in Portland, Oregon is a 67,000 sf. ft space consisting of three connected buildings that take up an entire city block.  The space is currently under construction to be converted into creative office space.  The building will undergo physical changes such as the addition of a second story, the addition of an elevator, as well as a full seismic upgrade.  To help preserve the history of the space, the original wood and crane rail elements will be prominent features inside the space.
