The Parker

The Parker is a new 177-unit apartment development built on a full block in Portland’s Pearl District. The goals for the project include bringing Portland and Pearl District building precedents to the design, referencing traditions in Portland-area apartment complexes as well as stylistic cues from Pearl District industrial buildings from the 1930’s. Brick masonry materials, decorative tile, and quality window systems are used throughout the design to reinforce the developer’s intention to bring a high quality residential project to the Pearl District.  This project offers the largest parking stacker system of its type on the West coast with 100 cars.  The LEED Platinum complex consists of six stories above grade, with one level of below grade for parking, bicycle parking, and storage for the residents. Common areas include public lobby spaces, community room, fitness center, and leasing offices.
